Sctch Bonnet Pepper- Red

Scotch Bonnet Jamaican Red is an open pollinated heirloom that produces compact plants bearing peppers about 1¾ by 1½ inches. Fruits ripen from green to deep red with a Scoville rating of 100,000 to 200,000, delivering classic Scotch Bonnet heat with a hint of citrus-like flavor. Thin-skinned and uniquely shaped, they are excellent in jerk dishes, salsas, and spicy sauces. Plants are highly productive and adaptable, performing well in both open field and container plantings.
